Location: Santiago, Chile
Client: Pilotes Terratest
Technology: ObraLink Resistencias with RSense2 technology
Description: Terratest implemented ObraLink Resistencias with RSense2 sensors to monitor anchors, reducing stressing times by up to one-third and improving efficiency and safety at Metro Lo Errázuriz, Santiago, Chile.
Pilotes Terratest faced the challenge of supervising 160 post-tensioned anchors during the construction of the Lo Errázuriz Metro station. A precise monitoring system for concrete strength was needed without disrupting site progress or compromising structural safety.
ObraLink Resistencias with RSense2 sensors was implemented, enabling real-time monitoring without core samples. A protection system using watertight thimbles and 3D-printed housings was developed for harsh site conditions. Everything was integrated without altering construction workflows.
"Implementing ObraLink Resistencias allowed us to significantly optimize tensioning times, improving both efficiency and project safety."
